Conduct and Etiquette

  • 1. Pupils are expected to demonstrate a high level of courtesy, consideration, and good manners both within the school premises and in public places.
  • 2. All pupils are required to show respect to their peers, teachers, and other adults, and to extend a warm welcome to visitors at all times.
  • 3. Simple courtesies such as "please" and "thank you" should be used consistently, both within and outside the school.
  • 4. Pupils are encouraged to hold doors open for adults and allow them to pass through first.
  • 5. In the school corridors, pupils must maintain a quiet and orderly demeanor.
  • 6. Punctuality is essential for attending classes, assemblies, and other school events. Those who are late should offer an apology and an explanation.
  • 7. Pupils who anticipate an absence for any foreseeable reason must submit a written request from their parents well in advance, providing a specific reason for the anticipated absence.
  • 8. Upon their return after an absence, pupils must promptly present a letter from their parents to their teacher, offering a clear explanation.
  • 9. Engaging in fighting and any form of bullying is strictly prohibited at all times.
  • 10. Pupils are not permitted to use offensive language.
  • 11. Pupils are expected to conduct themselves appropriately while wearing the school uniform.
  • 12. Teachers have the authority, with valid reasons, to deny a pupil permission to participate in a school trip and/or to send a pupil home from a school trip.
  • 13. Pupils are advised not to use the front entrance of the school.
  • 14. Proper eating habits are expected in the canteen, and pupils must responsibly clean up after their meals.

Well-being and Protection

  • 1. Pupils are required to adhere to all safety rules.
  • 2. Pupils must refrain from tampering with fire extinguishers.
  • 3. Pupils must strictly and promptly follow instructions for emergency evacuation.
  • 4. Pupils must follow their teachers' instructions precisely in practical subjects, PE, and games.
  • 5. Pupils should immediately seek out a teacher when another pupil is injured.
  • 6. Pupils must promptly inform their teacher of any safety hazards during school hours.
  • 7. Pupils may not leave the school premises without the permission of their teacher or a senior staff member. Pupils who are unwell should report to their class teacher.
  • 8. Pupils may only enter classrooms with the permission of a teacher and must wait in single file outside the classroom.
  • 9. The Assembly Hall should only be used under the supervision of a teacher.
  • 10. Pupils should only be on the school premises between 6:30 am and their designated departure times, unless supervised by a staff member. The departure time for Lower Primary and Nursery is 4:00 pm, while Upper Primary departs at 5:30 pm.
  • 11. Pupils are prohibited from bringing dangerous items like knives or laser pens, or valuable items such as personal stereos, computer games, or mobile phones, unless required for school work or activities.
  • 12. The owner's name should be clearly marked on books, bags, clothing, footwear, and sports equipment.
  • 13. Money and valuable items should be kept personally or entrusted to a teacher; they should not be left in cloakrooms or school bags.
  • 14. To ensure the safety of all pupils, parents dropping off children by car are asked to do so outside the school gates.
  • 15. Pupils must refrain from running or sliding in the corridors.
  • 16. In corridors, pupils should walk on the left, carry their school bags on the right, and avoid touching the walls.
  • 17. Pupils should not linger in the corridors.
  • 18. Fire doors and outer doors must remain closed.
  • 19. Pupils should not tamper with heaters or electrical appliances.
  • 20. Pupils must not engage in play that may cause damage to furniture, windows, or equipment, or pose a risk of injury to themselves or other pupils during break or lunchtime.
  • 21. Pupils must avoid pushing or shoving in the dinner hall.
  • 22. Pupils are not allowed to climb fences to retrieve footballs or any other objects.
  • 23. Pupils should refrain from climbing trees or swinging from their branches.

School Belongings, Individual Possessions, and Others' Possessions

  • 1. Pupils should maintain the school buildings and grounds by keeping them free of litter.
  • 2. Chewing gum is not allowed within the school premises.
  • 3. At the end of the day, chairs should be turned upside down and placed on tables to assist the cleaners.
  • 4. Any damage to school property must be reported to the class teacher. The person responsible for the damage must cover the costs of repairs and graffiti removal.
  • 5. Pupils are responsible for the proper care of their textbooks and are expected to return them to their teachers at the end of the year. Failure to do so will result in the pupil being required to compensate the school.

Attire and Individual Presentation

  • 1. Pupils are kindly requested to adhere to the school regulations regarding school uniform and personal appearance.
  • 2. Pupils are encouraged to take pride in both their uniform and personal appearance.
  • 3. It is important that school uniforms are worn neatly and correctly (e.g., shirts and blouses tucked in, top button fastened, ties properly tied).
  • 4. Pupils should wear shoes, not boots. Shoes that may leave marks on the school floors are not allowed.
  • 5. All hairstyles should be neat and not draw undue attention. Colored highlights are not allowed.
  • 6. Pupils are not allowed to wear any jewelry. It is advised that pupils refrain from getting their ears pierced during the school year. If earrings or similar items are worn, the child will be asked not to enter the play areas or participate in PE lessons.
  • 7. Only school-approved badges are permitted to be worn.
  • 8. Pupils are required to have the full and proper kit for PE and Games.
  • 9. Nail polish is not allowed.

  • Teachers will explain these rules to their classes annually and display the rules in the Classroom.

  • PUPILS ENTER THE SCHOOL ON THE UNDERSTANDING THAT THEY KNOW AND WILL OBEY THESE RULES. PARENTS ARE EXPECTED TO GIVE THEIR CO-OPERATION AND SUPPORT IN THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE RULES AND OF DISCIPLINE IN GENERAL.
